Institutional Investor Educational Delegation Trip to Africa
Since 2017, MiDA Advisors has supported seven Institutional Investor Educational Delegation Trips to Africa, including South Africa, Kenya, Senegal, and Egypt, in collaboration with the U.S. government. Participants of delegation trips represented over $4.3 trillion under management/advisement and hailed from across the U.S. and Africa.
The most recent delegation trip to South Africa in 2023 included 38 meetings, and pitch presentations were scheduled between delegates, government agencies, development finance institutions, local key stakeholders, and fund managers.
These delegation trips are intended to build relationships, educate participants about the investment landscape in Africa, and introduce bankable investment opportunities. A critical aspect of these delegation trips is focused on building relationships between U.S. institutional investors, their African counterparts, consultants, and African fund managers
