Since 2018, MiDA and Mercer have joined forces through collaborative projects to investigate the barriers (perceived and real) to opportunities to increase institutional investors’ allocations to Sub-Saharan African infrastructure.
Launched in 2017, MiDA’s partnership with Standard Bank Group stems from their footprint as the largest financial institution and leading infrastructure investor in Africa with a 150-year track record on the Continent.
MiDA’s partnership with the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) originates from the USAID-NASP Investment Partnership founded during the 2nd US-Africa Leaders’ Summit in 2016 under a cooperative agreement.
MiDA is proud to serve as Lead Advisor to The Kenyan Pension Funds Investment Consortium (KEPFIC). MiDA works with KEPFIC to increase investments in infrastructure and other alternatives.
MiDA is proud to serve as Lead Advisor to a consortium of South African pension funds, the Batseta Council of Retirement Funds of South Africa (Batseta), to increase investments in infrastructure and other alternatives.
